REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL - NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Construction of Bexar County Emergency Services District No. 2 Fire Station 123
Project Location: 10694 Marbach Road, San Antonio, TX 78245
Project identification: Project consists of all labor, supervision, materials, services and equipment required in conjunction with all work to construct a new Fire Station of approximately 19,500 square feet.
RECEIPT OF CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETITIVE SEALED BID PROPOSALS: Sealed proposals including Part 1 (Contractor Qualifications), Part 2A (Bid Security), and Part 2B (Competitive Sealed Bid Proposals) will be received by the Bexar County ESD No. 2 in two parts as follows:
Part 1, Contractor Qualifications, will be received until 2:00 p.m. CST, April 13, 2023, at Bexar County ESD 2 Station 124 Training Room located at 14515 Omicron Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78245. Names of General Contractors who have submitted Part 1, Contractor Qualifications, will be opened and announced at 7pm, and published as part of the Bidders List. No points will be awarded for qualifications of late submissions or for submissions that do not include the 5 required copies.
Part 2A & Part 2B will be received by Bexar County ESD No. 2 until 2:00 p.m. CST, May 18, 2023, also at the Bexar County ESD 2 Station 124 Training Room located at 14515 Omicron Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78245. Part 2A (Bid Security) & Part 2B (Bid Proposal) will be publicly opened during the Bexar County ESD No. 2 public board meeting that evening at 7:00pm. The names of the proposers and the monetary bid proposal will be read aloud in the Bexar County ESD No. 2 Board meeting.
Sealed proposals shall be delivered to Josh Brown, Bexar County ESD 2 General Manager, located at 14515 Omicron Drive San Antonio, Texas 78245, within the timeframes noted above. Parts 1, 2A, and 2B shall be delivered in sealed envelopes marked “Contractor Qualifications”, “Bid Security”, or “Bid Proposal”, respectively, on the exterior of the envelope. Envelopes shall also be marked with the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project.
Bidding forms, specifications, drawings and all necessary information shall be available only by downloading from the Brown Reynolds Watford Architects website at no charge.
